How this planner makes its suggestions

It compares your entered number of joining marches with or without one additional starter. No alliance troop or infantry cap is built in: blank rule fields add no restriction. Every result stays within your troop inventory, march capacities and entered limits.

Strong and medium joiner groups are split as evenly as possible. If there is an odd number, the strong group gets the extra march. Strong groups get a 1.25× planning preference; this is not a verified damage multiplier.

Planning weight = 1 + (attack bonus + lethality bonus) / 200, with the optional archer preference applied. Unknown bonuses contribute zero. A single representative host profile is used for joiners, or your own bonuses are used as an explicitly stated assumption.

The score uses the square root of weighted troops for each march, adjusted for the entered efficiency loss. This approximate model tends to favour spreading troops; it cannot establish the true maximum-damage march count. Fewer marches win exact score ties. Heroes, widgets, troop-tier interactions, defense and health are not simulated.
